What is the Council?
The Council is made up of representatives of each church from across our three parishes. Council Members meet together to discuss a wide range of topics relating to the pastoral needs of our community.

Social Rep - Diane Welch: Stewards, the CWL and the Knights.
Charity Rep - Lisa Eardly: Foodbanks. Sudan Charity, SVP, Cafod and LIFE.
Youth Rep – Sr Ancita: Catechesis, Children’s Liturgy and Youth Club
Schools Rep – Fr Gerry: St Edmund’s, St Bernadette’s’ St Michael’s and SS Peter &Paul
Prayer Rep – Sr Sophia: Legion of Mary, Divine Light, LASA and Emmaus
Administration and Safeguarding Rep – Marie Yeo: Finance Committee and Safeguarding Church Reps.
Sr Ancita, Sr Sophia, Fr Gerry and Marie Yeo (as member of the Finance Committee) are ‘ex officio’ members according to the Diocesan Guidelines. Many thanks to everyone for standing including those who were not elected and many thanks to everyone who has voted and taken part. Fr Mark will consult with all the reps and then agree a date for the first Meeting.
Any parishioner may attend the Parish Pastoral Council Meetings, which will meet every two months.
