Pope Leo has declared that the canonization of the first Catholic saint of the millennial generation, Carlo Acutis, is scheduled for September 7, 2025. This announcement was made on Friday, June 13, 2025. Acutis, an Italian born in Britain, passed away from leukemia in 2006 at the young age of 15. He was initially slated to be canonized on April 27; however, the event was postponed following the death of Pope Francis. Blessed Carlo Acutis, intercede for us.
